Here’s a look behind the scenes at Hill Grwp Ltd — this steel base frame is now on its way to the galvanising plant, a key step in the fabrication of our pre-packaged GRP enclosures and sprinkler pump houses.

🔧 Why galvanising matters: We hot-dip galvanise our structural steelwork to protect against corrosion, ensure long-term durability, and comply with relevant standards for industrial and outdoor environments. Galvanising creates a tough, weather-resistant coating that significantly extends the lifespan of the frame — critical for modular GRP housings, switchgear substations, and fire protection units deployed on demanding UK sites.

Every component of a Hill Grwp building is built with performance in mind — from the galvanised steel chassis to the weatherproof GRP outer shell.
