Bespoke GRP Enclosure Manufactured for Grease Trap Equipment
A recently completed bespoke GRP equipment enclosure at Hill Grwp Ltd was manufactured specifically to house grease trap equipment, with the access, ventilation and service connections planned into the enclosure before it left our factory.
The finished unit features steel double doors, dedicated ventilation and pre-made equipment entry points, helping reduce the amount of alteration and coordination required once the enclosure reaches site.
Built Around the Equipment
For specialist plant and mechanical equipment, the enclosure needs to work around more than just its overall dimensions.
Access for installation and maintenance, ventilation requirements and the position of pipework, cabling or other services all need to be considered as part of the design.

The large double-door opening provides practical access to the equipment, while the ventilation and service entry positions were incorporated into the enclosure during manufacture rather than being left to resolve on site.
Why Pre-Made Equipment Entries Matter
Where service positions are known in advance, openings can be coordinated with the equipment layout before manufacture.
This allows pipework, electrical services and other connections to enter the enclosure in the required locations while helping to minimise unnecessary cutting or modification after delivery.
It is one of the main advantages of specifying a bespoke equipment enclosure rather than adapting a standard kiosk around the installation later.
Manufactured and Prepared for Delivery
Once manufacture was complete, the enclosure was prepared and loaded for transport to site.
The loading photographs show the finished unit leaving our factory as a completed enclosure, with the main access, ventilation and equipment-entry requirements already incorporated.
